Current Book

So a few days ago, an author by the name of Keith Gray paid a visit to my school. I adore Author talks, and this one was exceptionally immersing. He discussed his latest book, Ostrich Boys, and the various topics the book touched on. Suicide, for one. The author admitted that he tried to commit the crime when he was 18, half the age he was when Ostrich Boys was published. Judging from first impressions, i wouldn't have guessed that at all from his buoyant, energetic personality. On the topic of whether Gray was a pessimist or an optimist, he said, "some people are the glass-is-half-full types, while others are the glass-is-half-empty. I describe myself as a The-glass-is-obviously-too-big-for-my-drink person."
Post-talk, i purchased The Fearful from the shelf of books on sale, it featuring my favourite cover. Judging a book by it's cover obviously.
Peace!^.^
